TIPSY PUDDING
Here is a great free recipe, it’s one for the adults only. This recipe contains wine, so we don’t think it is suitable for children.
It is a great favorite of ours when we have dinner parties. Everbody love it. So why not try it out. it takes just a few minutes to make, and it great for using up those stale cakes that don’t get eaten. The recipe suggests stale sponge cake, but we have made this with stale fruit cake and it taste just as great, actually I prefer the fruit cake, but my better half likes the sponge cake. See what you think. If you have a recipe that you would like to have on this blog, then why not contact us. We will be glad to put it onto this site.
Ingredients
1 stale sponge or fruit cake. (or any cake you wish to use) thinsliceJ
Jar of jelly (Jam) or preserves

frosting
Here we go.
Take the stale sponge cake and cut into thin slices, spread each of the slices with jelly or preserves, now put the two pieces together like sandwiches and then lay each sandwich onto a plate which it is to be served on.
Wet each sandwich with the wine, now add a tablespoon of custard over each sandwich, then add the frosting on top of the custard and place in a oven at medium heat for a few minutes.
Once cooked leave to cool. Eat cold.
