Hindu Eggs
Here is a wonderful and simple free recipe that was sent into us, Hindu Eggs, this sound great and we here at yesteryear-recipes can’t wait to try it. We think grandma and grandpa would have love this. We hope that you will enjoy trying this recipe too. Vegetarians can make this recipe by using a butter substitute.
Ingredients
2-3 Hard boiled eggs
3-4 beaten eggs
salt and pepper to season
half teaspoon of cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon of curry power
pieces of butter rolled in breadcrumbs (approximately 4 pieces)
grated cheese (enough to taste)
Now we have the ingredients lets get start.
Take your hard-boiled eggs and slice them, place in a baking dish (be sure to butter the dish well before putting in the eggs).
Now take the well beaten raw eggs and pour over the sliced hard boiled eggs, Mix the salt, pepper, cayenne
and curry-powder together and sprinkle over the eggs, once you have done this place a few pieces of butter rolled in breadcrumbs into the mixture and sprinke some grated cheese over the top .
Place ina moderate oven, and bake until done.
Serve with hot buttered toast or with a fresh green salad.
