Grandma’s Old Fashion Jam and Jelly Recipes Vol.1

Grandma's Old Fashion Jam and Jelly Recipes eBookDo you remember going to Grandma’s house when you were young? When we went to visit Grandma and Grandpa, I became excited right away because as soon as we walked into their home, I could smell those wonderful jellies cooking, or cooling. I remember the aroma as if it were just yesterday.

Grandma Wilkie always had a pantry with shelves full of the best, homemade jam, jelly, marmalade, fruit butter and conserves. She made it all! My favorites were the Blackberry Jam, Pineapple and Apricot Conserves, and the Plum Butter! I could never decide which one I wanted more, so Grandma made sure all three were available for me. The memories she created…I’m forever grateful for them, and for Grandma Wilkie.

I really enjoyed spending the night, for breakfast always started with lightly toasted whole wheat (home made too!) bread along with one (or more on the table) of Grandma’s wonderful fruit spreads. Those sweet aromas wafting through the house made getting up early a pleasure, even at a young age! As a young child I almost looked forward to going to bed, just so I could wake up early to those wonderful aromas filling my head with Grandma’s Love and Kindness.

In an effort to help children (of all ages) enjoy today what I enjoyed those so many years ago, I’ve put together a collection of Grandma’s favorite bread spread recipes. Believe it or not, she also used some of these for the filling in her wonderful pies and tarts (Wow, did those taste good!).

Not only did Grandma’s recipes create fabulous memories for me, her food and cooking was Fantastic! Everything she made was either grown by her or a close friend. She knew there were no chemicals or pesticides included in our diets. Natural and wholesome were very important concepts to all my Grandmothers. Quite frequently she canned those foods or juiced and bottled the fruits so she (and all who visited) would have Natural, Organic and Wholesome food during the winter months.

Because those who preceded me wrote their recipes down & kept the books they bought so many years ago (some as early as 1830), I’m now able to give those feelings, aromas and memories to my grandchildren. They’re amazed something can taste so wonderful and NOT come from a store or restaurant! When they’re here with me, they are completely enveloped in the warm feelings caused by those wonderful aromas enabled by the recipes in Grandma’s Old Fashion Jam and Jelly Recipes, Vol. 1.

Pick up your copy here and start creating those memories for your young ones!

Let’s start cooking again to give our families what they deserve. Natural, Wholesome and Nutrutious food along with some of the best memories of their lives!
