German Recipe for Stuffed Turkey
Ingredients
Now lets try this one together, as I haven’t cooked this before, so its first time for all.
Take your turkey and clean the inside out, (don’t forget to save the giblets). Season the outside with salt and pepper. Now take the giblets and chop them up, once this is done chop the veal and pork into small pieces and add to the giblets and leave in a bowl until needed.
Take your 1 onion, 2 cloves of garlic and parsley and chop the up small, add a little salt and pepper mix together, now mix in your 2 eggs. Take the mixture and add to the bowl of mixed meat and stir all the ingredients together, once everything is mixed together stuff the turkey. Sprinkle the turkey with
flour and place in a roasting tray of hot dripping and water.
Bake until done. Remember to baste often with the sauce (liquid from the turkey) whilst cooking. Serve the turkey with the stuffing. As with most German meals serve with boiled beets sliced thin.
We hope that you like the idea of this alternative Turkey dinner, try baking some potatoes to go with it, and some fresh organic green vegatables.
