My daughter made this for her children, and they thought it was delicious. Vegetarians can make this by substituting the dairy products for vegetarian products.

Here is an apple pie rhyme or poem, that was written for a 1700’s cookery book (recipe book).
We thought that you might have fun reading 18th century poems about one of the most famous dishes in the history of recipes.

It can get very hot in Mexico. Mexicans have a variety of cool treats to enjoy. From ice cream sandwiches to popsicles, they have many to choose from that you will love. The treats consist of chocolate, cinnamon, and different fruits. Some men even sell the treats up and down the streets similar to in America where you will see ice cream trucks in the summer selling cold snacks.

Here is your free recipe from the 1800’s for a great dessert, that we offen had on our visits to grandma, it is easy to make and tastes great.
Please note that if you are a vegetarian then replace the milk with a vegetarian product like soya milk. It will taste just as good.

Sugar Candy or hard candy is a favorite of all small children as well as many grown ups. We like to call these loyal lifetime candy connoisseurs, the “Mob”. Let me tell you that hard candy is so universally popular, that you would be hard pressed to find one Mob member who doesn’t enjoy at least one flavor or type.
