Boulettes
Ingredients
1lb of Beef steak
2 Sprigs of pasley
I large onion
1 Tablespoon of lemon juice
2 Tablespoons of melted butter (I know its bad for you but tastes great)
1 egg
Salt, Black Pepper, and Cayenne Pepper
Now you have the ingredients lets get started.
Take your 1 pound of round steak and chop and mince it, Now take the onion and the 2 sprigs of
parsley and chop into small pieces (you could shred the onion if you wish). Melt the butter (about 1oz), and add the 2 tablespoonfuls of melted butter and 1 tablespoonful of lemon juice, to the mixture.
Season highly with salt (sea salt is best), black pepper and a pinch of cayenne pepper. Mix the ingredients with 1 egg and form into balls (I do this with my hands, so wash them first, or you could use a wooden spoon); take the balls and roll in flour and fry in deep hot fat until brown (careful not to splash, we don’t want you to burn yourself, or you can use a big spoon with holes in, to put them into the fat). When cooked, serve hot with tomato sauce.
I hope you like this dish as a main meal or a starter, I often serve this with a salad but, you can serve with spaghetti or even potatoes.
